CTEP ID Information

All investigators who register participants to CPN Clinical trials and/or receive NCI funding for the conduct of a CPN clinical trial must have an NCI Investigator Code, also referred to as a CTEP Identification number (CTEP ID). The process of obtaining this designation involves submission of documents to the Division of Cancer Treatment and Evaluation Program (CTEP). They review the documents against other records, i.e. medical licenses and institutional regulatory documents to confirm the identity and credentials of an individual who participates in the conduct of the clinical trials. This process previously involved submission of paper documents. The process is now entirely electronic and must be updated annually.

    • Step 3:Establish a CTEP IAM account, if you don't already have one. Access the IAM application at CTEP IAM, select “Request New Account.” Follow the steps to request and then confirm a new account. IAM will indicate if an account is already setup for you, if applicable.
